This summer, PantherMedia introduces a new pricing scheme that optimizes the sales opportunity per image based on the sales history of each image.
The new pricing scheme has three price tiers: BLUE, RED and BLACK.
Category BLUEThis category is priced lower than our current archive and is targeted at price sensitive customers with a tight budget, e.g. bloggers with a daily need to change images on the blog daily.

Category REDThis category covers the basic need for images and matches our "old" pricing scheme to a large extend. While the credits prices have been slightly adjusted upwards, the invoice pricing for print resolutions have dropped. Web resolution prices have been generally increased. This pricing tier is targeted at a very large customer base covering all needs for images. |
Category BLACKBLACK is focused at service-oriented customer who are hunting extraordinary and high-quality images. Whether the images are used on a cover of a company brochure or glossy magazine: BLACK is the right choice for high quality images at affordable prices. Prices are generally higher than in our "old" pricing scheme. |

Once uploaded, our team of reviewers are classifying the images. Based upon the sales and downloads, it changes into other categories. Please see our chart for detailed information.

You can deactivate the participation in BLACK in the contributor portal -> policy management, if you do not want to charge higher prices for your images.
Subscription downloads also count as downloads within this pricing scheme. If you do not agree with this pricing scheme, you can cancel your membership or delete your images within 2 weeks according to the author licence agreement.
